CMAT 456 - Multimedia Production

Text: Macromedia Director 7 and Lingo Authorized. Media Lab Manual, Graphics Lab Manual (both provided).

Supplies: Jaz Disc (highly recommended) or numerous Zip Disc's, Video Tape, DAT Audio tape. Supplies can be purchased in the Media Lab.

In General:

  1. Attendance is mandatory. Much of the class is based on in-class demonstration. The lab assistants (in both labs) ARE NOT trained in all the software programs we will be using. If you are not in class, you won't be able to complete the assignments.

  2. No Make-ups. All assignments must be turned in to pass the class.

  3. When you plan to work in the lab, bring the necessary disc's, video/audio tapes with you.

  4. Please refer to the various lab manuals regarding lab sign-up proceedures and policies.

Grades:

Storyboard/Script 20%
Exams 40%
Final Project 40%
Lessons and Labs must be completed by date specified. The exams and final project will be based on this material.
