What do I do?
Read a communication based magazine (either hard copy or on-line) cover
to cover. In a short paragraph, 3-4 sentences, summarize the major points
covered in each article. You should have 4-5 summaries when complete. Paper
should not exceed 2-pages.
What kind of magazine should I read?

Where do I get the magazine?
You can check magazines out from Media Lab Assistants (CR 301) during
lab hours posted on the door.
You can buy the magazine.
Read one in a public library.
Find it On-line.
What format should I follow?
Name
Magazine Report #1
Date
Name of Magazine. Date of Issue, Author's last name, Author's first name.
Name of article. (Remember names of magazines and articles need to be underlined
or in quotes). This is a cite, just like in a term paper.
Write a 3-4 sentence summary. Follow this format for all 4-5 major articles
listed in the table of contents.
NOTE: Use one magazine for each assignment. Don't pull different articles
from different magazines. I encourage you to change the type of magazine
for each assignment. It's more interesting to read a computer magazine,
a video magazine, and a publishing magazine. This is only a suggestion and
not a requirement. Please use magazines that are no older than one-year.
Final assignment should be approximately 500-words (spelling and grammar
count).
