Pick a topic we've discussed in class, or a communication based technology you're interested in, and prepare to write a full fledged research paper. You're best advised to pick one small element of the subject. You could write a book on desktop publishing or video-on-demand. NARROW THE SUBJECT MATTER DOWN.
You are expected to state a thesis (your theory of what's going to happen - based on your research), a literature review (what is currently the popular school of thought by well known researchers), and a discussion of how you got from the currently published research to your thesis.
You must use primary research in addition to secondary sources from books, magazines, and journal articles.
Paper should be approximately 10-15 pages, typed, and double spaced.
This is the only assignment you turn in hard copy. Please include a work
cited page in addition to your updated bibliography.
No late papers will be accepted. HEAT students (only) may mail me their work postmarked by the above date. Students wanting their papers back should include a self-addressed, stamped envelop.
