Prerequisites: A working knowledge of Mac OS X or Windows 2000/XP

Apple's Final Cut Studio video editing application is used to edit everything from home movies to Television series' to Hollywood films. Learn the basics of this suite to begin harnessing the power of video production on your own computer.

Topics include:

Students will build on skills through exercises to produce various objects and organics based on the above topics.

Students work on individual Macintosh workstations. Instructors use advanced screen-sharing technology to allow all participants an up-close view of techniques, and can share users' screens with the class to demonstrate procedures.
