School of Communications Design students write, design, build
websites, and create media and multimedia programs.
They write fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and screenplays; magazine
articles, ads, and public relations pieces. They design logos, posters, brochures,
magazines, books, and web pages. They produce informational and persuasive
videos, audio documentaries, and multimedia cd-roms.
Some of the best work produced in the School of Communications Design comes
from the Publications Design's capstone course,Seminar in Publications Design.
In that course, students conceptualize and produce a prototype for a new print
or electronic publication. To see some of those projects, click here.
